Navy Jerry’s Rum Bar and Restaurant in central Helsinki, designed by Werklig.

“Digging deep in everything we found closely (or distantly) related to the naval and marine worlds, we designed a simple but strong visual identity that fit the concept of a naval rum bar with a new twist.

From marine tattoos and sailors’ drinking songs to the ports of Helsinki and Honolulu, a simple naval colour palette and tattoo-like visuals we created the key elements for Navy Jerrys’ visual identity. For the colour palette we chose US Navy Blue Gray and Light Khaki and the imagery was strongly inspired by 50’s marine tattoos.” – Werklig
